Pratap Sarnaik has started a drive against the Toll Collection in Thane Dist. by filing a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) in the Hon'ble Bombay High Court. It has been found that many a times citizens pay a lot of amount in the form of Toll for a longer period of time even after the completion of repair work and concretisation of the roads. To cite an example as per the report of the Comptroller & Auditor General of India (CAG) Rs.44 crores have been spent for the concretisation & widening of Ghodbunder Road and as many as Rs. 300 crores are going to be collected in the form of Toll from the public. That is why Pratap Sarnaik has filed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) in The Hon'ble Bombay High Court and the matter is subjudiced.
